50 State Quarters Program

Launched in 1999, the 50 State Quarters Program honored each of the 50 U.S. states. The U.S. Mint released five new quarters annually based on the state's admission order.

DC and U.S. Territories Quarters

The District of Columbia and U.S. Territories Quarters Program was a one-year program honoring the District of Columbia and the five U.S. Territories. In 2009, the U.S. Mint issued six quarters with different reverse designs. This program immediately followed the 50 State Quarters Program and preceded the America the Beautiful Quarters Program.
