TYBEE ISLAND, Ga. — A photo taken in June 2011 of the Tybee Island Light lighthouse on the northeast end of Tybee Island, Ga. It is one of seven surviving colonial-era lighthouse towers and helps mark the entrance to the Savannah River.

SAVANNAH, Ga. — Savannah State University and the Savannah State University National Alumni Association hosted official Homecoming activities October 20-26, 2013 During the weekend, they celebrated the class reunions for the classes of 3’s & 8’s and honored the graduating class of 1963 (“Golden Tigers” / 50 Years) and the graduating class of 1988 (“Silver Tigers” / 25 Years).
