ANNANDALE, Va. — The Men's Fellowship of Capital Baptist Church held it's annual Super Bowl Breakfast on February 3 in The Warehouse. The featured presenter for the event was Steve Able, the Area Representative for the Fellowship of Christian Athletics.

WASHINGTON — Enjoying the Sunday evening performace of Kathleen Battle's Underground Railroad: A Spiritual Journey at the John F. Kennedy Center. The world renowned soprano was accompanied by her choir and special guests Joel A. Martin and Cyrus Chestnut on piano in a recital of Spirituals inspired by the African-American journey to freedom along the Underground Railroad.
WASHINGTON — The Great March to Freedom album on display at the Museum of the Bible. The album contains the speech delivered by Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. during the Walk to Freedom, a mass march during the Civil Rights Movement on June 23, 1963 in Detroit, Michigan.
