WASHINGTON — I had a wonderful morning attending the “Food for Thought” gathering centered on the National Portrait Gallery’s America’s Presidents exhibition—the largest and most comprehensive collection of presidential portraiture outside the White House. Acting Director Elliot Gruber was the featured speaker, and following his presentation, we made our way inside to the Fred W. Smith Gallery.

Sermon Notes for "Thank God for the Interruption"

Sermon Series: Jesus Changes Everything

Speaker: Min. Hazel Wynn

Key Scripture: Acts 9: 4-15

Sermon Date: Sunday 08-16-2026

Address: 450 Orchard Street, NW Vienna, VA 22180

Did you pray this morning?

Saul had a plan and a destination, but it was interupted by Jesus.

No one truly encounters Jesus and remains the same.

Transformation begins. Attitudes start changing.

Jesus changed Saul before he sent him out to work.

God told Ananias what to do.

Thank God for the change; Thank God for the interuption.
