FREDERICKSBURG, Va. β€”Β We were finally able to attend a Fredericksburg Nationals game without a rainout. The weather was perfect, and it was a great night at the ballpark with my favorite non-baseball fan!

Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park

Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park

KENNESAW, Ga. β€” The Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park preserves the battleground of the June 1864 confrontation between Union and Confederate forces during the Atlanta Campaign of the U.S. Civil War. Located just outside Atlanta, the park features over 2,900 acres of forested terrain, historical earthworks, monuments, and 22 miles of interpretive trails. The centerpiece, Kennesaw Mountain, offers scenic views and insight into the military strategies used during the battle. Today, the park serves both as a memorial and a recreational area, attracting history enthusiasts, hikers, and nature lovers alike.

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. β€” Welp...our second attempt to catch a Fredericksburg Nationals game was also rained out, but I can't complain about the company. Hopefully our next visit will be on a sunny evening.
