Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. is the first intercollegiate Greek-letter fraternity established for African American men. It was founded at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York by seven college men who recognized the need for a strong brotherhood bond among African descendants in the United States. Since its founding on December 4, 1906, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity has supplied a voice and vision for the struggle of African-Americans and people of color around the world. HERNDON, Va. — Despite playing in 20 degree tempatures, the Annandale Dabbers fought hard in today's Suburban Friendship League Tournament. After a tough 0-6 loss to Chantilly in the first game, the Dabbers scored with one minute remaining to secure a 1-1 tie against Sterling and finished the season with 29 points.
